🛡 The Turkish Ministry of Trade's Advertising Board examined the subscription processes of 11 different digital platforms and announced the sanctions imposed on its website.

⛔ Commercial practices that are considered unfair/deceptive by the Board:
🚫 Requiring the inclusion of credit or debit card details when creating an account to take advantage of the free trial offer,
🚫 Highlighting the package with the highest selling price in a way that attracts the attention of consumers,
🚫 Consumers are not clearly informed about what is meant by expressions such as "most popular",
🚫 Closing the account and deleting data is more complicated than opening an account,
🚫 While "accept" is emphasized in the notification of the updated membership agreement to the consumer, the "refuse" option is not offered in the same way.
